In the third quarter of 2022, air travel apps on the iOS platform in Bahrain displayed diverse trends in downloads and revenue. Here’s a closer look at the performance of the top five air travel apps, based on data from Sensor Tower.

Gulf Air experienced a relatively stable download trend throughout the quarter. Weekly downloads fluctuated between 245 and 309 in July, before slightly decreasing to a range of 155 to 196 by the end of September.

Flightradar24 | Flight Tracker showed significant fluctuations in revenue. The app's weekly revenue peaked at $338 in mid-September, compared to a low of $73 in early August. Downloads for the app varied as well, with a notable peak at 226 in early August before gradually declining to 112 by the end of September.

Wizz Air - Book Flights saw a steady download trend in the initial weeks of Q3, with numbers ranging from 170 to 187 in July and August. However, downloads dropped significantly in September, stabilizing around 70 to 76.

Turkish Airlines: Book Flights maintained a consistent download performance, starting at 141 in late June and dipping to 56 by the end of September. Despite the decline, the app showed resilience with minor fluctuations throughout the quarter.

Emirates had a more volatile download pattern. Starting at 113 in late June, the app's downloads saw a peak of 109 in early August before descending to 54 by mid-September, with a slight recovery to 62 by the end of the quarter.
